Our local friends took us out to a restaurant around the corner from their place called California Pizza Kitchen. From its design, setting and menu, I got a sense of feeling that was a locally owned restaurant as well but once I checked it out online, turns out, its a franchise. The picture above shows the last of the Spinach artichoke dip with the last of the tortilla chip crumbs in the background. With the large amount of butter and spinach, it tasted exactly like ‘saag’ (indian dish which is also made from spinach and butter). I checked to see if they served ‘maki di roti’ to compliment this dip but nope. I ordered a wild mushroom pizza with chicken. I wouldnt order it again. But Goop chose the California pizza which had chicken and pineapples. After taking a bite of his pizza while he made a run to the restrooms, I can definitely say that his choice was better and was D-(don’t wait for it)-licious.
